Richard Rogers has been named to design the two-million-sf 175Greenwich St. (Tower 3). Fumihiko Maki of Japan will design the1.8-million-sf 150 Greenwich St. (Tower 4). The 175 Greenwichbuilding will be bounded by Dey Street to the north, CortlandtStreet to the south, Church Street to the east, and a re-introducedGreenwich Street to the west. The 150 Greenwich building will bebounded by Cortlandt Street to the north, Liberty Street to thesouth, Church Street to the east, and a re-introduced GreenwichStreet to the west. Both will accommodate approximately five floorsof retail space at and above street level and as part of anunderground concourse linking to the WTC Transportation Hub.

Last week, an agreement was reached between Silverstein and thePort Authority of New York and New Jersey regarding the WTCrebuilding process. In three weeks, the 52-story 7 World TradeCenter, which is just north of the site, will officially open.
