Child Net oversees child welfare in Broward County. Theorganization cares for and counsels children who have been abused,abandoned or neglected. The organization also provides short-termfoster care.

Tavares tells GlobeSt.com that two other government agenciesthat Child Net works closely with recently renewed their leases at311-359 State Road 7. "After thoroughly reviewing theiralternatives, Child Net concluded that the most viable solution wasto relocate and share the campus with other child- and familywelfare-related organizations," she says.

311-359 State Road 7 consists of three buildings totaling124,037 sf. Space rents for an average of $17 per sf. With theChild Net lease, the buildings are 100% occupied. Other tenantsinclude the Department of Children & Family Services and theBroward County Sheriff's Office.
