The site was acquired by 550 Seabreeze Development LLC, a jointventure between the New York-based Trump Organization,Aventura-based Eugene and Stuart Kessler, and the New York-basedBayrock Group. The project's architect is locally based OscarGarcia and the interior designer is Dianne Winovich.

Eugene Kessler tells GlobeSt.com that the project represents adeparture from Trump's other, larger projects, such as the24-story, 301-unit Trump International Hotel and Tower in FortLauderdale. Trump and the Bayrock Group are also collaborating onthat project. "This is his first venture into a boutique project,"Kessler says. "This will be a very personalized type of boutiquehotel with five-star amenities."

Sales of the units have already started. Completion of thebuilding is expected in early 2008. The building will containstudios, one- and two-bedroom suites ranging in size from 470 to1,700 sf. Prices range from $500,000 to $3 million. Unit featureswill include private balconies with glass balustrades, kitchenswith custom cabinetry, granite countertops and backsplashes andItalian marble baths. Building amenities will include a fitnesscenter, swimming pool overlooking the ocean and a restaurant withan indoor/outdoor bar. "Trump Las Olas is destined to elevate thestandards, and consequently the expectations, of luxury condoliving in South Florida," says Trump in a prepared statement.
