NEWBURGH, NY-PetSmart is the latest retailer to join the tenantroster at the Newburgh Plaza shopping center here. ThePhoenix-based retailer has signed a lease for 20,000 sf of space,according to property owner Garden Commercial Properties of ShortHills, NJ.
Joseph Korn, vice president of development for Garden CommercialProperties, says PetSmart will occupy a new freestanding buildingat the 248,000-sf open-air center. The site will be part of thesecond retail phase at Newburgh Plaza which is located on Route 300and Old Little Britain Road and totals 32 acres.
