MESA, AZ-A local developer continues making inroads on the neareast side, spending $7 million to acquire 20 acres. The developmentplan is still being fine-tuned, but it is ticketed for a mix ofoffice and retail space.

"This is one of several acquisitions they've done recently. Theytypically buy existing properties, office and retail and this isn'ttheir first land acquisition," says Mark Gustin, vice president forTrammell Crow Co. in Phoenix office. The Saia Family LP's latestpurchase is positioned at the intersection of Power and Elliotroads.
