The New York City-based consulting company will set up shop Aug.1 in 40,000 sf of temporary space at 5750 Northwest Parkway. AnAccenture contact tells GlobeSt.com that the search is on forpermanent space for a plan to be up and running at full steam bymid-2007.

"It's up in the air right now, but we're looking for likelyspots," the company contact says, "possibly a build-to-suitlocation. Sometimes, we take on an already built office." Accenturehas offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin.

In a press release about the ramp-up, Accenture credited thecity's hardy business environment plus diverse and well-educatedtalent pool as reasons for the win. The Accenture source stresses agood employee base is essential for successful outsourcingoperations. "This is part of our global network of deliveryservices," he says, "and we use a mix of local, regional and globalresources to help our clients."
