The program, a presentation of Real Estate Media, the parentcompany of Real Estate Forum GlobeSt.com, will be held atthe Crowne Plaza White Plains Hotel Aug. 15. The event, which drewhundreds of attendees last year, will get under way with openingremarks by Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano.

Michael Desiato, group publisher and editorial director of RealEstate Media, will preside over a Town Hall Meeting that willdiscuss the state of the Westchester County real estate market.Joining Desiato will be Michael Siegel of CB Richard Ellis, BruceBerg of Cappelli Enterprises, Inc., David Cohen of GE Real Estate,Craig King, commissioner of development for the City of NewRochelle and Andy Merin of Cushman & Wakefield CapitalMarkets.

Next will be concurrent presentations that will focus on themany waterfront developments that have been built, are underconstruction or planned along the Hudson River and Long IslandSound shorelines and a discussion entitled "The Demographics andDevelopers Behind the Multifamily and Condo Craze." That roundtableprogram will feature officials from JPI, Noyack Medical Partners,which is redeveloping the former St. Agnes Hospital property inWhite Plains, and AvalonBay Communities, which is engaged inhigh-rise ventures in New Rochelle and White Plains, and JP MorganAsset Management Real Estate Investment Group. The waterfrontprogram will also be a roundtable format and include executives ofCappelli Enterprises Inc., National RE/sources LLC, the villages ofSleepy Hollow and Hastings on Hudson and the environmental groupScenic Hudson.
