OXNARD, CA-Leading Industry Inc., a maker of plastic packagingfor the retail, medical and food industries, has acquired twobuildings totaling 194,277 sf for $13.4 million. The company's newfacilities are at 1151 and 1351 Pacific Ave. in the Channel IslandsBusiness Center.
The buildings will house the buyer's office, manufacturing andwarehousing operations, according to Mitch Conlee of GVA Daum, whorepresented Leading Industry in the purchase of the buildings fromPegh Investments LLC. The new buildings will accommodate thecompany's expansion plans and allow it to effectively double insize as it serves a growing list of clients, Conlee says. Theseller was represented by Robert Flink and Robert Shafer, now withLee & Associates.
