NEW YORK CITY-The dispute between Peter Malkin and LeonaHelmsley has come to a conclusion. The dispute, which eventuallysaw Wien & Malkin and Helmsley-Spear enter the courts and has dragged onfor years, includes the venerable Empire State Building, as well asa handful of other large buildings that Malkin and Helmsley haveowned, managed or had some part of.

The main component of the deal is management control of theEmpire State Building but also includes nine other buildings.Management of the building will be by Empire State Building Co.directly.
