Perspective

Happy New Year! In many respects, Labor Day represents thelaunch of a new business year. Vacations are over, the kidsare back in school, and executives begin to focus on the nextagenda, budget planning and organizational needs. It alsomarks the beginning of a prime time for professional and executiverecruiting. Hiring managers begin to address gaps in theirorganizational charts, bench strength for new initiatives andsuccession planning. Business leaders also want to make surethat their team is well-positioned to take advantage of the runwaythat still remains in this current bull real estate market. Therefore, I expect that this new business year will continueits robust hiring trend across all sectors. There was littlelet-up in recruiting activity over the summer and the prognosis isstrong for continued professional-level recruiting across allsectors.
