Jim Nicoletti, with CB Richard Ellis/New England, tellsGlobeSt.com that the company will take the entire building for itscorporate headquarters with landlord the Bulfinch Cos., Inc., ofBoston. Cantata was established earlier this year through thecombination of Brooktrout Technology and Excel Switching Corp.

Terms of that lease were not disclosed but space in the Route128 west corridor generally leases in the $20 range, according tomarket studies.

Nicoletti says Bulfinch's reputation as a landlord along withthe building's strong location along Route 128, which gives Cantanahighway visibility, were the reasons behind the tenant's leasingdecision.
