Thad Seeley, senior vice president for the Jets, showedjust-completed blueprints of the facility to CoreNet's New Jerseychapter. The networking group's November meeting hosted the "NewYork Jets Training Facility & Corporate Headquarters - a ModelPublic/Private Partnership" talk at the Park Avenue Club, rightnext to the Jets' site.The two-story building wraps around one offive football fields in the camp, with lights set up for nightpractices. Three more outdoor fields are adjacent to this one and afifth is inside. The various turf conditions will allow the Jets tosimulate game day conditions no matter where they're playing.

The first floor will be home for football operations and thesecond floor for business operations. The two halves of the Jetswill be kept separate, with separate parking lots and entrances. Afirst-floor cafeteria and auditorium will have dual usecapabilities. The media have a third entrance, away from bothfootball and business operations.

"One of the big benefits of the site is how they're welcomed bythe community," said Mark Yeager, president and CIO for Gale RealEstate Services, and a moderator at the event.
