MOORPARK, CA-Home Depot has signed a 20-year, $32-million landlease at the 495,000-sf Moorpark Freeway Corporate Center that willput the retailer in a 145,000-sf building at 1000 Patriot Dr. thatwill break ground this summer, according to Lee & Associates.The new Home Depot store will occupy a 13-acre site at the 33-acreMoorpark Freeway Center, which is planned for a combination ofoffice, industrial and retail space.

The center is a development of a joint venture of M.W. Ossola& Associates Inc. and Nearon Enterprises LLC, which wasrepresented by president Mike Tingus of Lee & Associates' LANorth/Ventura operations and Bill Bauman, VP of Colliers RetailProperties Group. Home Depot was represented by Allen Young andGreg Whitney of CB Richard Ellis.
