REDC is a contract agency of the County of Rockland that is thechief economic development agency for the county. The REDC board ofdirectors announced Freedman's pending departure.
"I've worked in partnership with very talented people in boththe private and public sectors of Rockland County and throughoutNew York State," says Freedman "and, as a team, we've producedinnovative programs and enhanced existing ones for the benefit ofRockland County businesses and all county residents."
Freedman will join the National Executive Service Corps as itsvice president and regional director for Westchester and Rocklandcounties. NESC, based in New York City, provides business planningand management consulting services to nonprofits, municipalitiesand school districts.
