PORTLAND, OR-J&R Group has acquired One Airport Center, a 71,000-sf multi-tenant class A office building near Portland International Airport. The mainland China-based company paid a local partnership $11.6 million for the building.

One Airport Center was built in 1996 on one acre of land at 7700 NE Ambassador Place in Portland International Center. The building’s major tenant is Rentrak Corp., which occupies 75% of the space.

Tom Hanacek of Sperry Van Ness in Portland represented the seller, locally based Airport Partners, LLC. Pam Baker and Mike Holzgang of Colliers International represented the buyer, J&R Group. The Lake Oswego, OR office of GE Real Estate provided the acquisition financing.
