Henkel develops and markets home, office, do-it-yourself andprofessional adhesive products. The lease was handled by ToddCarter, of City of Industry, Calif.-based Majestic Realty Co.Henkel Corp. was represented by Ray Stache, of Cushman &Wakefield.

"This facility provides state-of-the-art design and fills agrowing need for our company," says Henkel Corp. vice president ofoperations Gene Obrock. "The Majestic Airport Center II propertyoffers us the space we need with an option to grow as we continueto serve the needs of our client base in this part of thecountry."

Carter tells GlobeSt.com that Henkel is the second tenant in the660,000-sf Building 2. GE, which leases 360,000 sf, is the othertenant. Henkel occupies space that had been occupied byPennsylvania-based third party logistics company Genco. Henkel hashired Genco to run the facility. One of the reasons Henkel chosethe space was its close proximity to Interstate 285, which leads toother major roadways. "By being so close to I-285, they were notpinned down to one major roadway," Carter says.
