The project has already broken ground and the first residentsare slated to be able to move in this fall, according to DavidPerry of the Clarett Group. The 30-story building will house one-,two- and three-bedroom units, ranging from 707 sf for a studio loftand 1,435 sf for a three-bedroom, two-bath condo. The condos areselling for $500,000 to $1.3 million. More than half of thebuilding consists of two-bedroom units and 65% of the condos costless than $1 million.

The project is the first luxury condo in the BAM district, afact that according to Perry has lead to a steady stream ofinterested residents. "We are seeing many people who currently livein the area in brownstones or other older buildings who areinterested in living in new construction," he says. "We are alsoseeing many customers coming from Manhattan to get more value fortheir money, to take advantage of living in the BAM CulturalDistrict and to take advantage of the incredible views that Fortéhas to offer."

Traffic is expected to increase in April, when the Clarett Groupopens its on-site model homes, according to Perry.
