The specific plans for Madiba Bay include a five-star, 500-roomhotel, airport upgrades in Port Elizabeth and other investments intourism. All of the projects will be overseen by Lesaoana incooperation with the government, says Jayco president JayCohen.
"[Lesaoana] will be among the leading lights to carry out theSouth African Government's objective of seeing that Black EconomicEmpowerment Candidates reach the corporate level for theinternational markets," says Cohen, who is expected to outline theimportance of the project to the region in a Parliament speech thisweek.
