Prices for the retail space will range from $220 to $240 per sf.Prices for the office space will start at $264,900 for a 2,400-sfspace. Business Condos USA president Larry Walshaw tellsGlobeSt.com that the project is currently in the permitting phasewith groundbreaking anticipated in early summer and completionexpected in early 2008.

"Our Mayfield project will be located on a highly covetedcorner, just north of a new Wal-Mart and the Home Depot," Walshawsays. "This is the new hot market with all the new homes beingbuilt in the area."

Traffic counts on the part of Blanding Boulevard where theproject will be located are 48,000 cars per day, and on OldJennings Road the counts are 3,000 per day. "When Old Jennings Roadchanges to CR 209 at the end of 2007, it will open as a four-lanecorridor to Green Cove Springs," Walshaw says. "We estimate thattraffic counts will increase substantially placing Mayfield in aprime Clay County location."
