The $9.4 million project was constructed by Oak Brook-basedKrusinski Construction Co. Joseph Krusinski was the project managerand John Becker was the project engineer. John Haggerty, ofLincolnshire-based Dobrin & Associates, was the projectarchitect for the exterior of the facility and Keith Rabuse andLori Ott, of Dallas-based Gromatzky Dupree and Associates, were thearchitects for the interior of the facility.

Comcast has signed an 11-year lease for the facility, says MarkCoffman, vice president of customer care. Coffman would notdisclose the lease rate. The facility is located on approximately8.5 acres and has parking for 536 cars. A fitness center is one ofthe building's perks.

Comcast chose the building "mainly because of its location,"Coffman says. The facility is located near the junction Interstates55 and 355, allowing for access for employees, and the village ofWoodridge has many amenities, such as restaurants. The call centerhouses a total of 550 employees, including 500 customer accountexecutives, Coffman says. The center is expected to field more than13,000 calls daily from Illinois, northwest Indiana and southwestMichigan.
