She says jobs are coming back to the Detroit area. "This is agreat market, we've had a lot of success here. Southfield iscentrally located, it allows us to grab talent from acrossMetropolitan Detroit," she tells GlobeSt.com. The new jobs willinclude call center employees as well as customer service andfinancial services representatives, coordinators, analysts,trainers, supervisors, associate directors and one manager.

She says she cannot say what the lease rate is for theexpansion, made as an addendum and not a renewal of the lease. Theaverage lease rate for the Southfield area is $19.47, according toa fourth-quarter CB Richard Ellis market report.

The company said in December that it will build the new 112,800call center in Nebraska by 2007. The building will be in theUniversity of Nebraska Technology Park at 4600 Innovation Dr. inLincoln. Hiring has already begun for the 800 new jobs, sayscompany officials.
