LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL-Ravallo Resort Development Co. is planningto break ground in the fall on the $800-million Ravallo Resort& Conference Center on Palm Parkway. The project, situated nextto a lake on 11 acres, will feature twin 23-story "green" towerswith 900 condo hotel suites and an adjoining 100,000-sf conferencecenter.
Arlington, VA-based Interstate Hotels & Resorts has receivedthe nod to manage the resort. "We have a substantial history in themanagement of condo hotels and are quite familiar with thisbusiness model and its unique needs and requirements," saysInterstate CEO Thomas Hewitt.
