WestMar, which is the leading independent commercial real estatebrokerage firm in South Riverside County, will now be called Grubb& Ellis|WestMar. The partnership will operate out of WestMar'scurrent office on Margarita Road in Temecula, where nine brokersand four professional staffers will reside.

"For both firms it was a way to really focus to a higher degreeon South Riverside County," Marc Doyle, executive vice president oftransaction services at Grubb & Ellis, tells GlobeSt.com. "ForWestMar they get Grubb & Ellis' professional training programsand access to a well-known national company. For Grubb & Ellisit's an excellent opportunity because many of our clients from SanDiego have eyed the South Riverside area."

A population increase, Doyle notes, has kept South Riverside inneed of more commercial services, particularly retail, which is aspecialty of WestMar's, along with office, land, industrial andinvestment properties.
