The lease signals an expansion and renewal for IMC, which wasrepresented by Jeff Lipson of Stone Miller in Brentwood, with Ardenrepresented internally by Derric DuBourdieu. The nonprofit isundergoing a major renovation of its office space to accommodategrowth, according to Nancy Aossey, IMC's president and CEO.

International Medical Corps, a global humanitarian organizationthat was founded in 1984, provides rapid-response teams that helpto ease the impact of man-made and natural disasters. It hasprovided help in more than 40 countries, working in some of thetoughest parts of the world, such as Darfur, Northern Uganda,Afghanistan and areas affected by tsunamis.

Terms of IMC's new lease were not disclosed. Market reports forthe first quarter of this year pegged average asking lease ratesfor office space on the Westside at about $3.30 per sf permonth.
