The new company will be led by executives that oversaw thedevelopment division of the former Inland Retail Real Estate TrustInc., a REIT that was sold in February in a $6.2-billionmerger with Developers Diversified Realty, as GlobeSt.compreviously reported. Inland Atlantic has retained the Atlantaoffice that was the home base of that division.

The COO is Barry Lazarus, who was CEO of Inland Retail. Thepresident is John DiGiovanni, who headed Inland Retail. Otherformer Inland Retail personnel joining Inland Atlantic includeexecutive vice president Randy Josepher, vice president ChristiKarp, vice president Joel Murovitz and executive administrativeassistant Tina Luttrell.

"Our game plan is to focus on the Southeast that being ourbackyard," DiGiovanni tells GlobeSt.com. "But that doesn't precludeus from looking at other areas."
