As Schnitzer Northwest, the company developed and acquired somethree million sf of office, condominium, retail and industrialspace primarily in the Puget Sound region. As Schnitzer West, thecompany now also will be looking for opportunities in Denver, LosAngeles and San Francisco, Ivanoff says.

The news comes on the heels of a big win for the company inBellevue. In early April, Microsoft Corp. inked long-term leasesfor the entirety of Schnitzer's two under-construction officedevelopments in Bellevue totaling 1.3 million sf. Headquartered inthe neighboring Redmond, the public software company leased the740,000-sf Bravern Office Commons next to Meydenbauer Center inDowntown Bellevue and the 600,000-sf Advanta Office Commonsadjacent to Interstate 90 in southeast Bellevue.
