MELDRIM, GA-Reno, NV-based DP Partners has moved forward withtwo planned industrial projects that, when completed, will bringapproximately sixmillion sf to the Savannah area. In the first project, DPsigned a sales contract with the Effingham County IndustrialDevelopment Authority, a move that brings a $200-million,1,738-acre industrial park called LogistiCenter at Savannah closerto reality.
The company signed a letter of intent in September to acquirethe land located eight miles west of the Interstate 16/Interstate95 interchange and 15 miles west of the Port of Savannah. The landstraddles Interstate 16 east of Old River Road, which is northwestof Savannah and approximately 12 miles west of the Savannah/HiltonHead International Airport.
