GARDEN GROVE, CA-Private investors have acquired three apartmentcomplexes here and in two other communities in deals totaling morethan $12 million, the largest of them the sale of the 32-unit KonaGarden Apartments here. The others were the 26-unit Mountain ViewApartments in La Quinta and a 22-unit complex in Santa Ana.
The Kona Garden, a Polynesian-themed property that was built in1962, sold for $5.5 million in a deal between two privateinvestors. The property, at 9731 Acacia Ave. in Garden Grove, issituated on nearly three acres and consists of 13 bungalow-stylebuildings in a garden setting. The transaction was brokered by HiuChan of the Long Beach office of Marcus & Millichap, whorepresented both the buyer and the seller.
