A SAP Americas' spokeswoman tells GlobeSt.com it will befollowed by a second phase, which will include another 202,000-sfbuilding and a 20,000-sf atrium. The estimated start date for phasetwo is 2012 at a cost that is yet to be determined. The fullexpansion will accommodate the addition of approximately 1,200employees.

"Absolutely, the entire expansion is being constructed to be aPlatinum LEED building," the spokeswoman says. That is the highestcertification provided by the US Green Building Council. Thearchitect is New York City-based FxFowle. Among the architect'sother projects are the New York Times building and the ReutersBuilding at Three Times Square in Manhattan and Tianjin Tower inTianjin, China.
