WEST PALM BEACH, FL-Professional employer organization Oasis Outsourcing has signed a 36,000-sf lease for space within the hurricane-resistant Emerald View at Vista Center at Okeechobee Boulevard and the Florida Turnpike.

Oasis, which has experienced revenue growth of approximately 50% over the past three years, is relocating its current headquarters from Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach to accommodate its need for more space. The company, which will occupy two floors in the four-story building, is expected to move into the space in the fourth quarter.

Emerald View at Vista Center, which was completed in March, is one of the only Category 5 hurricane-resistant buildings in Palm Beach County. The building was constructed to withstand winds of up to 185 miles per hour and has 100% power back up. The building has enough fuel stored for it to remain open for 14 days without refueling.

Oasis Outsourcing was represented by NAI Merin Hunter Codman principal Bob Schneiderman. Procacci Development Corp. vice president Debra Kremblas represented Procacci, developer of the building.

Procacci Development Corp. president Phil Procacci tells GlobeSt.com that this is the second lease signed for the building, with State Farm signing a 25,000-sf lease. With the two leases, the building is 60% committed. Tenant fit-outs are under way, he says. “The building is attracting larger tenants that have a commitment to stay open for their customers after a storm,” Procacci says. “For Oasis Outsourcing, this location will be their national headquarters. It’s a mission critical facility.”

Oasis Outsourcing officials say the building’s proximity to the Florida Turnpike and Interstate 95 and its hurricane-resistant qualities were reason for selecting the location. “As a provider of risk management services, we believe that Procacci’s concept minimizes risks associated with Florida’s annual storm season by providing the protection and continuity needed to run our business effectively,” says Oasis Outsourcing executive vice president and CFO Terry Mayotte.
