Highridge is a 2,000-acre business park developed by theSchuylkill Economic Development Corp. Among the other occupants areregional distribution centers for Lowe's, Wal-Mart, Sears LogisticsServices, Wegmans Food Markets and Fanelli Trucking andWarehousing.
The Sara Lee project was coordinated by Gov. Ed Rendell's actionteam, which worked with SEDCO to secure a $375,000 financialpackage from the Department of Community and Economic Development.The package includes a grant of up to $250,000 from the OpportunityGrant Program and up to $125,000 in customized job trainingfunds.
