The building is adjacent to its headquarters at 980 Fox Ave. andtwo other buildings the company owns in the immediate area. Theseller is listed as CN Fox LLC, which is represented by Cawley FundAdvisors of Dallas. The sale is expected to close escrow in midOctober.

Supermicro's equipment is used in data center deployment,high-performance computing, high-end workstations, storage networksand standalone server installations. Company CEO Charles Liang saysthe acquisition will facilitate greater operational efficiency.

"This facility will allow Supermicro to expand our manufacturingfacilities as well as provide additional office space for ourgrowing R&D and SG&A needs," he says.
