CRANBURY, NJ-Wathne Ltd. has subleased 76,968 sf of industrial space at 1 Capital Dr., a 201,600-sf facility owned by ProLogis here. The New York City-based Wathne will use the site for distribution of fashion accessory products, including such brands as Polo/Ralph Lauren, Estee Lauder, Chanel and Land’s End.

The sub-landlord is Newegg.com, a company that sells computer hardware and software and consumer electronics. As reported by GlobeSt.com, Newegg.com signed a lease for larger quarters in Edison a year ago and has since moved its local operation to that site.

The building at 1 Capital Dr. is on 95 acres in ProLogis’ Cranbury Business Park in the New Jersey Turnpike Exit 8A submarket. Wathne’s location within the building includes 3,300 sf of built-out office space.

“This lease will enable Wathne Ltd. to be positioned in the heart of New Jersey’s top industrial market,” says Scott Belfer, first vice president of CB Richard Ellis. Belfer teamed with CBRE colleagues Lou Belfer, Mindy Lissner, Susan Strauss and Stacey Weinberg to arrange the sublease.

Terms of the sublease were not released. Direct space available in a companion building within the park is currently listed with an asking price of $4.85 per sf.
