NEW YORK CITY-John Gallin & Son Inc., a locally based,family-owned construction firm, has completed a 35,000-sfconstruction project on the third floor of 417 Fifth Ave. for theNational Benefit Funds of the International Alliance of TheatricalStage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and AlliedCrafts of the US, its Territories and Canada. Meridian DesignAssociates is the designer for the space.
"We had a specific vision for our National Benefits Funds Centerand John Gallin did an impressive job of accommodating it," saysAnne Zeisler, executive director of the IATSE National BenefitFunds. "Our facility, with much open space, soaring ceilings and anequipped conference room and training center, was expertly built toour specifications. The design even incorporated green elementsinto the space." A source close to the deal tells GlobeSt.com thatIATSE is uncomfortable discussing monetary aspects of this project,and could not provide further information.
