According to Steve Center, senior vice president of officeleasing for Shea Properties, Cushman & Wakefield will beseeking corporate headquarters tenants, lifestyle-consciouscompanies, environmentally friendly users and emerging growthcorporations. The Cushman & Wakefield team will include EricHinkelman, Rick Kaplan and Greg Brown.

When completed, the new Legacy Park development is slated toinclude 2,100 homes in addition to the more than six million sf ofnon-residential space, which will feature major office, retail,entertainment, educational and community support facilities. Morethan 170 acres will be dedicated to parks and recreational openspace that will include a two-mile community park with walkingspaces, playgrounds, natural areas and sports facilities.

When Shea unveiled its plans for the first phase of officeconstruction in June, Center pointed out that the office portion ofthe development would be part of a project that will includehotels, restaurants, shops, a health club and housing, all designedin an outdoor-oriented plan to take advantage of the SouthernCalifornia climate.
