Lloyd A. Rosenberg, president, CEO and founder of DMR Architectsin Hasbrouck Heights, and Charles H. Sarlo, the firm's vicepresident and general counsel, have teamed up to launch GreenEconomics, Inc., a professional consulting firm. The aim is toprovide advice and counsel to the construction industry and thecorporate world on the economic benefits of green buildings.

"The root of this consulting practice stems from identifying aneed our clients and peers have for direction on navigating theLEED certification and accreditation process," Rosenberg says. "Thefirm will provide expertise in all phases of the process, fromenergy efficiency and environmental strategies to certificationpaperwork."

"The mission is to advise clients on recognizing and assessinghow sustainable design, in existing and new buildings, providesquantifiable financial benefits in terms of operational savings andlong-term valuation," Sarlo says.
