Officially on the job now four days, Evans tells GlobeSt.comthat Carr Properties will hew to its value-add investment strategyof office assets. Recent company projects include the sale of afour-building office park in Fairfax, VA to PS Business Parks for$25 million, LEED-designed office developments in Alexandria, VAand 901 KSt. in the District.

"We don't see making any changes to the success the company hashad in the Greater Washington, DC area," Evans says. "I will beworking on strengthening and possibly broadening the existingplatform." Evans' background includes experience not only in officesales and development but also in the retail, residential andindustrial sectors.
