"We are very pleased with the retail lineup that will debut thisfall in the new lifestyle addition," says Frank Lucia, seniorproperty manager for the center, which is owned by the SantaMonica, CA-based Macerich. "Our shoppers told us they wanted newretail and dining options, and our research also showed a desirefor an outdoor setting."

The new signees join five previously announced tenants in thebuilding. The others are Borders Books, which took more than 25,000sf earlier this year, along with Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang'sChina Bistro, Jared the Galleria of Jewelry and TerritoryAhead.

As reported by GlobeSt.com, Macerichkicked off the expansion project in 2006. That expansion is part ofa larger project that includes a renovation of the existingenclosed mall.
