NEW YORK CITY-ALM's Real Estate Media Division, a leader in newsand information for the commercial real estate industry, is joiningforces with the Building Owners and Managers AssociationInternational and the US Green Building Council on a research studydesigned to take the pulse of the commercial real estate industryon energy and sustainable practices. The study will focus on theapplication of green methodologies and technologies in existingcommercial buildings, and on the financial and marketing benefitsof these efforts.
The survey is currently being distributed to REM's nationaldatabase of ownership, investment and operational entities, and toBOMA's national membership, which includes more than 16,500members. Results will be presented at a press conference at theUSGBC's Greenbuild International Conference & Expo from Nov. 7through Nov. 9 in Chicago. A complete report on the study, withanalysis and commentary, will appear in the November issue ofReal Estate Forum magazine, on GlobeSt.com and in the BOMA Magazine.
