TAMPA, FL-CarePlus Health Plans Inc. has signed a 35,672-sflease for office space at Fountain Square II at 4925 IndependencePkwy. With the lease, the building will be approximately 75%occupied.
CarePlus Health Plans is a subsidiary of Louisville, KY-basedHumana Inc. and offers Medicare Advantage HMO plans in Miami-Dade,Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Orange, Osceolaand Seminole counties. Fountain Square is owned by a locally baseddeveloper Fountain Square II Ltd.
Jeff Tolrud, of locally based Colliers Arnold Real EstateServices, represented the tenant. David Green, of CB Richard Ellis,represented the landlord. Tolrud tells GlobeSt.com that, with thenew lease, the company plans to relocate from another locationwithin the Westshore submarket. The move is expected to becompleted by March.
