CAMDEN, NJ-Susquehanna Patriot Bank has opened its new 25,000-sfheadquarters at Steiner & Associates' Ferry Terminal Buildingon this city's waterfront, moving here from nearby Marlton. Themove marks a couple of milestones: Susquehanna Patriot Bank is thefirst financial institution to be headquartered in Camden in morethan two decades, and the recently completed 100,000-sf building isthe first totally privately financed office building in Camden inat least 40 years.

“We serve customers and communities on both sides of theDelaware River,” says Joseph Lizza, president and CEO ofSusquehanna Patriot Bank, which has 15 branches in South Jersey andanother 22 in Pennsylvania, and approximately $2.1 billion inassets. “So this move places us in a very central, convenientlocation.”

The new four-story Ferry Terminal Building is an initialcomponent of the Columbus, OH-based Steiner's Cooper's Crossingmixed-use waterfront development. The building itself includesthree levels of office space, a restaurant and additional retailstores. At full build-out, Cooper's Crossing will cover 30 acresand has a projected price tag in the $200-million range.
