CRANBURY, NJ-The Contract and Commercial divisions of office supplies retailer Staples will occupy 52,000 sf at 4 Aurora Dr. within ProLogis Park here following the signing of a sublease with master tenant Graybar Electric. The deal was arranged for Graybar by SVP Kenneth Lundberg and director of corporate accounts Jonathan Stravitz of NAI James Hanson, Hackensack, NJ and for Staples by VP Mitchell Katz of CB Richard Ellis.

“The property is a premium facility, well-suited for this company’s warehousing and distribution needs,” says Lundberg. Terms were not released.

Built in 1998, the 416,000-sf 4 Aurora Dr. is located near NJ Turnpike Exit 8A in Central New Jersey. It’s currently 75% occupied by multiple tenants, including US Mail Consolidators. The existing 104,000-sf availability includes a 3,000-sf office component.

The 52,000-sf space is part of a 218,000-sf block once occupied by Graybar Electric, which moved out three years ago as part of a realignment and consolidation of various locations to a site in Northern New Jersey.
