Simon Property Group has expanded its energy efficiency programat its shopping center properties by hooking up with ConEdisonSolutions to provide performance contracting services. Energyefficiency programs will include improvements in lighting, HVAC andother energy-related controls. Specific projects will likelyinclude installing new lighting systems, tightly controllinglighting in parking lots and back-of-the-house areas and installingnew HVAC systems.

"In addition toreducing operating costs, energy efficiency also conserves naturalresources and reduces the carbon footprint of our facilities."
