HOUSTON-A little more than a year after acquiring 52 acres inthe far northwest submarket, Duke Realty Corp. is ready to beginwork on the first phase of Point North Cargo Park. The 158,400-sfspec building is being built on 10 acres at a cost of $50 per sf to$55 per sf.

Point North Cargo Park is located within the 200-acre HoustonContinental Trade Center. "We felt that the market was strong, withactivity being good all over the city so now was a good time tokick this off," Cory Driskill, senior leasing representative forDuke's Houston office, tells GlobeSt.com. He says the firstbuilding will go up near the intersection of Will Clayton Parkwayand Kenswick Drive.
