VALENCIA, CA-Mechanix Wear, a marketer of gloves used on theNascar circuit, has moved into a new 75,000-sf headquartersbuilding on a five-acre site here, according to OltmansConstruction Co., general contractor for the $11 million project.The facility, which serves as the world headquarters anddistribution center for Mechanix Wear, will periodically welcomeNascar vehicles for display and now has Dale Earnhardt Jr's. NumberEight Budweiser Car along with Tony Stewart's Number 20 Home DepotCar on display in the lobby.
The 75,000-sf building at 28525 Witherspoon Parkway is situatednorthwest of the intersection of Interstate 126 and Interstate 5.It is a project of Sheridan Ebbert Real Estate Development ofSylmar, which also served as construction manager.
