Built in 2003, the shopping center is anchored by Publix, withother tenants including B2B Coffee, Dental Office, Dollar &Party Express, El Esfoguero Mexican Restaurant, and Fantastic.There is currently 6,400 sf of vacant space in the center. Theacquisition price was not released.

Lawrenceville is one of the fastest growing areas in the countrywith 200,000 people living within a five-mile radius of the centerwith an average household income in excess of $72,500. The trafficcount in the area of Bethesda Walk, which is located at theintersection of Lawrenceville Highway and Bethesda School Road, is33,000 vehicles per day.

With the acquisition, DLC continues on its plans to expand inthe Southeast. Earlier in November, the company acquired aseven-property, 670,000-sf portfolio in the Southeast for $104million. The portfolio includes: Brookwood Village in Atlanta; CobbCenter in Smyrna, GA; Greystone Village in Raleigh, NC; HighlandSquare in Jacksonville, FL; North Pointe in Columbia, SC; PeachtreeParkway Plaza in Norcross, GA; and Poplar Springs Plaza in Duncan,SC.
