Herrema will also join the Kennedy Wilson executive committeeand will be based in the company's New York City office, which willopen simultaneously with his appointment, according to William J.McMorrow, chairman and CEO of the real estate services andinvestment firm. McMorrow says that in his new post, Herrema willhelp to raise private and institutional capital, source deals,assist with investor relations and manage other strategicinitiatives.

Herrema's 30-year professional career in the financial servicesindustry began with Wells Fargo Bank, where he spent almost 15years serving in a variety of senior management positions in thecommercial and real estate lending areas, culminating in thepresidency of Wells Fargo Securities. He later became COO and CEOof Bessemer Trust in New York.
