Frager points out that Freeman brings experience in organizationbuilding, contract negotiations, growing sales and creatingstrategic partnerships primarily in the wireless technology andhealth care industries, and that the new COO/CFO's background willprovide "new perspective that we feel will help drive growth as wehead into 2010."

Freeman joins Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial from DriveCamInc., a technology company dedicated to mitigating risk byimproving driver behavior and assessing liability in collisions.Before that, he worked at San Diego-based information technologyhealth care startup Patientline Systems as COO and CFO, where hewas responsible for all business operations, including marketing,customer operations, product development, legal, finance and humanresources.

Freeman spent nearly a decade at Intel Corp. in a variety ofpositions, including financial controller and director of strategicmarketing. At Grubb & Ellis|BRE he succeeds Brent Rivard, whoheld both positions and left the company to become a senior officerat RJL Wealth Management.
