WASHINGTON, DC-Cassidy Turley is bringing onboard a new VP of Retail Property Management to expand thisservice. Joan McCarty will lead the company’sMid-Atlantic Retail Management Division. A twenty-year industryveteran, McCarty was most recently with CB RichardEllis as director, Asset Services. Her hire is part ofCassidy Turley's push to expand its retail management offerings,William Grillo, senior managing director tells GlobeSt.com. "Wecurrently have a portfolio of 1.5 million square feet of retailunder management. Now we are being approached by clients asking usto bid on business." Grillo says as retail investment sales expandin the DC area, the management end of the business is experiencingan echo boom of growth as well.

There have been a number of new faces at top brokerages inthe DC area. Another new announcement this week comes fromJones Lang LaSalle, who has tapped CurtisSkolnick to be VP in its Project and Development Services,specializing in healthcare projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.Prior to this he was a principal consultant with the KLMK Group.Finally, Baird has announced that Steven H.Goldberg will soon join the firm as managing director andhead of Real Estate Investment Banking. Goldberg was most recentlythe group head of Real Estate Investment Banking at FBR CapitalMarkets.
