NEW YORK CITY-Publisher Conde Nast’s move to One World TradeCenter is said to be a done deal, making it the prized anchortenant for the 1,776-foot tower, which boasts 3 million square feetof office space. Conde Nast will relocate to 1 WTC and occupy 1million square feet of that space, moving from 4 Times Square.

A spokesman for the Port Authority confirms to GlobeSt.com thatthe deal is finalized, and merely pending a vote by the PortAuthority of New York & New Jersey at the group’s May25th board meeting. The publishing company alsoconfirmed that the deal was forthcoming.

“We are close to concluding lease negotiations, and are hopefulthat a move to One World Trade Center will be a catalyst fortransformation downtown, similar to our positive impact on TimesSquare,” John Bellando, Conde Nast CFO and COO says in a statement.“Conde Nast would be proud to take part in the ongoing renaissanceof lower Manhattan.”
